Cars and parts are one of the hardest hit areas of complaints. It is reported that 435 consumer complaints were filed in the first half of the year, an increase of 16.27% compared with the same period last year.

Consumers spend tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of dollars to buy goods, but do not dare to use them with confidence." The person in charge of the Provincial Consumer Protection Commission said that the second is after-sales service. When the car breaks down and has been sent for repair for many times, it still cannot be eliminated, which has become the trouble of car owners. "Some 4S stores use dirty parts in the maintenance process. There are great differences in quality assurance among the original, main and sub factory products. In the process of vehicle maintenance, the maintenance contract is unclear, and it is difficult to protect the rights and interests of consumers."
When buying a car, the contract also has the problem of non-standard. For example, there are many preferential activities of "zero rate" of car loan mortgage, but the "zero rate" of car loan is not equal to zero handling fee. The operator desalinates the latter's fee when selling cars, resulting in car purchase disputes. In addition, the deposit has relevant provisions in the contract, and some consumers did not pay attention when signing the contract, which often turned the deposit into liquidated damages due to non performance or incomplete performance of the contract.
In recent years, the smell of new cars has also become the focus of car owners. Some new cars are suspected of exceeding the standard of formaldehyde in decorative materials, which also leads to an increase in consumer complaints.
